ITP Interpipe knows how to prevent accidents. But how do they take care of the health of all their employees? In 2025, they chose Kor to achieve this goal. In one year, digital health assessments have already led to over 80 concrete actions: prescriptions, medical follow-ups, lifestyle changes. A real turning point in how prevention is approached.
Moving beyond existing practices
When we speak with Céline Babault, QHSE Director, one word keeps coming up: anticipate. “That’s what matters most. Once an accident has happened or an illness has set in, it’s already too late”, she emphasizes. In a sector where safety requirements are particularly high, this culture is an integral part of daily life.
At the end of 2024, general management entrusted her with a clear mission: to push the boundaries even further. The company had already implemented a range of actions: comprehensive check-ups for offshore employees, mandatory fitness certificates, yoga, awareness campaigns, support for musculoskeletal disorders... But one question remained unanswered: what could be offered to others, whether they were employees, contractors, or temporary staff?
It was while looking for alternatives that she discovered Kor. “I was familiar with the clinic check-up system, but I didn’t want to send people to spend an entire day at the hospital. Kor’s digital approach seemed interesting to me, and well-suited to our relatively young workforce.”
With its online assessments, teleconsultations, and the ability to quickly obtain prescriptions for further examinations, Kor offered exactly what ITP Interpipe was looking for: a tool accessible to everyone, without constraints, and capable of initiating real health actions.
How safety culture fosters engagement
At ITP Interpipe, the launch of digital health assessments was not a top-down operation, but a project implemented gradually and with full transparency. Céline Babault first presented the solution to the management committee, then to employee representatives. “They were all happy, interested, ” she recalls. “The only real question was about the confidentiality of medical data. Once that point was clarified, everyone was on board.”
Result: over 70% of employees created their accounts – a figure that far exceeds the average observed elsewhere (often around 20 to 30%). This success can be attributed to two factors.
First, the safety culture already deeply ingrained in the company: “In our sector, we are all highly committed to health and safety, for ourselves and for others. It’s part of our daily lives.”
Secondly, team involvement in content selection. When it came time to choose health workshops, Céline directly consulted employee representatives. Three themes stood out: orthoptics, psychosocial risks, and... the benefits of napping. "Employees immediately felt involved. They chose topics that truly resonated with their daily lives."
From assessment to new habits
The principle is simple: once an account is created, each employee answers a series of questionnaires, then chooses whether or not to discuss the results via teleconsultation to delve deeper into their results. "Some even directly received a prescription for further tests,"says Céline Babault.
In a few months, the assessments led to 80 concrete actions : 17 medical in nature (biological assessments, screenings, dermatological follow-ups, or consultations related to alcohol consumption), and 63 focused on lifestyle.
“The most visible impact is fruit consumption,” smiles Céline. “We had to double the fruit baskets in the cafeteria, as the initiative encouraged employees to pay more attention to their diet.” But beyond the anecdote, employees are setting real goals for themselves: walking 30 minutes a day, reducing hidden fats, getting back into sports…
The effects are also being felt outside the company. General practitioners praised the initiative, especially for employees who didn't have regular follow-ups. The project also fostered a broader collective dynamic. “In our sector, safety is already part of daily life, but here we've seen more discussions emerge about health in a broader sense”, observes Céline Babault.
The CSR initiatives carried out in parallel reflect this: participation in sports tournaments, group walks, dietary workshops... These are all moments when prevention moves beyond procedures to become a shared topic among colleagues.
Prevention as a strategic lever, even for SMEs
With Kor, ITP Interpipe has achieved the triple effect: strong engagement (70% of employees engaged), concrete actions (80 medical or lifestyle initiatives launched), and a cultural impact that goes beyond the individual to strengthen mutual care.
As Céline Babault summarizes, Kor's check-up acts as a "health companion": both accessible and benevolent, without ever seeming too medicalized. A tool that becomes part of daily life, which supports without constraining, and which paves the way for a shared culture of care.
Prevention is no longer the sole preserve of large corporations or complex systems. With the right tools, it can become a strategic lever within reach of all organizations, regardless of their size.
